The brief

As part of its new communication campaign, Safran would like to produce portraits highlighting the career paths of its employees. The Group’s objective is to roll out a series of videos that will inspire young talent to join the aeronautical adventure. For this project, Safran called on the Bien-Fondé agency for the design, graphics, filming and editing of the videos.

The mission

How can we rethink the “business portrait” format to make it more dynamic and attractive to a target audience accustomed to new digital codes?

Our answer

  1. 01. Defining a recreational concept
  2. 02. A graphic charter inspired by social networks
  3. 03. Highly rhythmic video production
01.

The definition of a recreational concept

To bring this series of business portraits to life in an attractive way, the agency came up with a creative, embodied concept: Guess My Safran Job.

The video’s storytelling is based on the day-to-day life of an employee in the workplace.

Like a riddle, the idea is to disperse clues (missions) throughout the video to help the viewer guess the job that is presented. Only at the very end of the video is the Safran employee’s job revealed.

02.

A graphic charter inspired by social networks

For this campaign, the creative team designed a super colorful graphic package to make the content more fun and dynamic.

To illustrate the different sequences, we created assets reminiscent of the codes used on TikTok or Instagram.

Introducing visuals, animated stickers and emojis, we’ve enriched the video with a number of elements familiar to viewers, to keep the audience’s attention.

03.

Shooting sessions in the workplace

For this project, we travelled to different workplaces, particularly in the Paris region and southwest France.

One day of filming was dedicated to each selected employee.

Our team was able to follow, camera in hand, the daily lives of several employees in their workplaces, to get as close as possible to the reality on the ground.

04.

An ultra-rhythmic video production intention

Our production approach is to captivate our target audience with an impactful format, similar to the short videos published on social networks. Our concept is based on a subjective point of view, that of the employee: the POV.

To realize this, we incorporated dynamic transitions, ultra-cut sequences and embodied staging.

With this super-paced montage, Guess My Safran Job fulfills its mission: fun video content that brings educational information to the audience
