The Brief
For over 165 years, the French family-owned company Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA) has provided custom industrial maritime solutions with high added value activities. Mindful of its impact, the company builds low CO2 emission vessels and aims to share this new positioning with its audiences.
The Challenge
How can we convey the company’s new direction and narrative within a brand visual?

A meaningful tagline
To illustrate this, we explored several visual concepts centered around three key notions:
Transmission, which reflects the family legacy and the unification of all the company’s expertise.
Responsibility, as a shipowner, has an immediate effect on the decarbonization of the sector, ensuring an intact ocean for future generations.
The Future, which drives the engineering of the entire sector to reinvent, anticipate, and innovate, with LDA at the forefront.
The Notion of Collectivity, representing the diversity of the fleet and the activities of the Group.
The Chosen Direction: A forward-looking group
The binoculars, symbols of the future, are directed towards the maritime industry of tomorrow, illustrated by an innovative and responsible LDA fleet.
The infographic was created by International Energy Club.
This visual has been adapted into two versions, allowing the viewer to be directly included in the scene by looking through the binoculars.
The version with a predominance of white, featuring a minimalist design, echoes the responsibility and commitment of the Group.
